Managing Partner

Michael Rivera has been in commercial banking and capital markets for 23 years, including 16 years at Wells Fargo Bank, and 7 years at regional banks. Most recently he acted as co-head of asset dispositions for a $100+ billion bank. Prior roles have included co-founder and co-head of national affordable housing construction finance, co-head and founder of west coast commercial real estate finance for two separate banks, as well as managing director of corporate and commercial banking. Michael has launched and or led multiple commercial lending and banking businesses across the United States. He has extensive relationships among debt, equity, and sponsors in major US markets on both the West and East coasts, concentrated in Northern California, Southern California, Nevada, New York, and the Mid-Atlantic. Primary markets include the San Francisco Bay Area, the Los Angeles metropolitan area, the Inland Empire, and the broader New York City area. Michael has been responsible for tens of billions of dollars of loan assets which were originated, asset managed and serviced. The largest single transaction Michael was involved in was a $2.5 billion dollar syndication whereby he acted as joint lead arranger on behalf of a bank. Business segments within Michael’s span of control have included commercial real estate, affordable housing construction finance, commercial and mid-market lending, specialized deposits, government banking, corporate lending and banking, as well as asset dispositions. Michael’s breadth of experience includes overseeing and implementing processes, policies, and procedures for loan originations, credit underwriting, loan administration, asset management, portfolio management, and asset dispositions. He has also led multiple bank-wide initiatives including technology assessments and implementations. Michael has served on multiple boards of both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, as well as steering committees such as the FINTECH committee of a large regional bank. Michael has a bachelor of science degree from University of California, Davis, and a master's certification in commercial banking from Pacific Coast Banking School hosted at University of Washington’s Fosters School of Business. Michael is originally from Sacramento, California, where he also currently resides.

 With over 25 years in commercial real estate finance, I have structured and closed more than $3 Billion in commercial real estate loans including construction, bridge, permanent financing, and senior secured/unsecured credit facilities. I have worked closely with developers, funds, public and private REITs, family offices, institutional investors, and nonprofit affordable housing organizations, providing strategic financing solutions that drive successful real estate investments.

Recently, I transitioned from the commercial banking world to 247 Capital Advisors. At 247 Capital Advisors, our goal is to help clients navigate the complexities of real estate financing with strategic insights, hands-on execution, and a results-driven approach—ensuring they are positioned for success in an increasingly competitive market.

Jerad is a dynamic commercial lending executive with extensive experience in real estate finance and business development. With tenure as a Vice President and Associate Group Director at major financial institutions, he brings deep expertise in commercial real estate lending, LIHTC construction lending, and diverse asset class financing. His proven track record includes sourcing over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans, demonstrating his ability to build and manage high-value portfolios and client relationships. Jerad's comprehensive experience spans construction financing, mezzanine debt, and managing ultra-high net worth clients across multiple asset classes including multi-family, industrial, office, and retail properties. His strategic approach to business development and relationship management has been instrumental in expanding market presence across the West Coast. As one of the top-performing Business Development Officers nationwide at a leading national bank, he consistently exceeded production targets while mentoring other professionals. With a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a strong foundation in financial analysis, risk management, and deal structuring, Jerad brings a results-driven approach to commercial lending. His deep understanding of both sides of commercial lending transactions positions him uniquely in serving clients seeking optimal financing solutions across all property types.

Michelle is an accomplished banking and operations professional with two decades of experience across product development, finance, and real estate. She holds a Masters in Business and has successfully managed multi-million dollar portfolios and directed product innovation efforts, contributing to $15 million in growth for a financial services software company. Michelle’s expertise extends to managing complex credit exposures for large-scale real estate portfolios, including LIHTC and CRA lending, with a strong foundation in underwriting and risk analysis. Her strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration have supported major real estate development projects and capital market activities, adding substantial value through data-driven solutions and operational efficiencies.
